	Greetings from COB SPEICHER, IRAQ! We have been busy the last several weeks with missions all over Northern Iraq. In this issue we are focusing on all the family members serving together on this deployment. You will probably be surprised as to how many families have brothers, cousins, fathers and sons serving together here in Iraq. We have tried to include pictures of all our Soldiers that have family members serving with them. In our down time between missions the Soldiers have been enjoying themselves with various activities around the COB. Delta Company entered a team into the Dodgeball tournament and won the championship game! Many Soldiers have taken up the “spinning” class early in the morning to stay in shape between missions, the trend is growing and the class is booked up 20 minutes prior to the start! I am very proud to say that we have had several Soldiers reenlist since we have arrived here in Iraq. I cannot express how grateful I am for their true sense of duty and commitment to their Country. I am truly blessed to lead outstanding Soldiers and patriots like SFC Jay Bays, SSG John Birk, and SPC Jerry Oakman. Several of our Soldiers have returned home or are currently traveling home for leave. We unable to forecast leave very far in advance. Those Soldiers taking leave will receive about a 7 day notice prior to leaving. Your Soldier will be able to inform you on their leave date as it approaches. If you have any specific questions regarding any matters please contact the Rear Detachment Commander SFC Elzy or the FRG Chair Mr. Charles Selby. I would like to thank all of the families and friends that supported the Delta Company FRG. Your support truly makes a difference for our Soldiers.
